Making a short (2-3 minutes) suspense-driven film based around the concept of an innocent bystander witnessing a murder. The film has little dialogue but has plenty of opportunities for actors to show their discipline, as much of the film is focused in on reaction and expression. The film addresses the question of what you might do when witnessing a seemingly random act of violence.

We’re looking for an actor to play our main character - "Alan" (character description below), for a two-day shoot (9th and 10th of February, times TBC). We can only pay expenses on this one, because we're on a shoestring - but actors will get a credit and a copy of the film. Shooting with a Canon C100 with external recorder - will look ace. We also ask that the actors are based in or around Bristol.

Alan is our protagonist, a middle-aged wanderer living a nomadic existence in a tent in the woods. He witnesses a seemingly random act of violence and must make a quick decision regarding his actions. A really good opportunity for actors to show their range, as most of the film is focused on them. Looking for actors that are above 40, but open to other people if you feel you're right.
