You will play the role of Nicholas, an artist who is talented but troubled as a result of his traumatic childhood. (The film being set in present day, but including flashbacks to the 80's). Nicholas represses most of his emotions aside from his anger (lashes out and throws things like his father used to). He is a functioning alcoholic who seeks the validation he never got from his father through art critics and fans. But as he is sensitive, he takes any negative review on his art very personally.
In the narrative Nicholas reflects on his turbulent relationship with his father after returning to his childhood home after his father's death. There he will find closure and create the best piece of artwork he has ever done.
