Mother is a ten minute drama/thriller set in the 1640's during the English Civil War.

It is the story of Emlyn, a young single mother living alone in the woods with her only son, Robert, and her attempts to protect him from the violence of war and from growing up to be a soldier like his father.

All of her hard work goes to pot one fateful evening when Matthew, a man who calls himself a soldier and an officer, finds her cottage while she isn't home. She must try to steer him away, whatever the cost, if she wants to protect Robert from the threat that this soldier brings with him.

This is the graduation film of the masters-level industry film-making course at the Central Film School London.

Actor will receive all expenses paid including travel, accommodation, food, etc. Additionally he will receive a copy of the film in hard copy, in digital for his show-reel, and a ticket to the showing at Curzon cinemas when the film premiers.

Auditions will be held at the Central Film School in London, from the 10th of January until the 16th.
