'What If...' is a short drama film based on an uneasy conversation between an elderly mother, Miriam, and her daughter, Maya, about religion, marriage and relationships. The conversation influences the daughter to make a decision on whether or not she should stay in her interfaith relationship with her partner or leave for good.
Miriam is Maya's mother who urges her to confront Maya's issues with her partner. Despite having strong morals and values she respects and supports her daughters decisions. She is a mother who only wants the best for her daughter.
