The day Leonor announced she was getting married, something broke inside of her. Leonor was always a reserved girl, but on that day she became a stranger.
With time, the mother softened, due to her internal battle to choose between her sadness and maternal instincts. After all, Leonor is her daughter. And despite everything, she cannot let her start her wedding day alone.
