3 actors needed: 1st Connor, late teens/early 20s our protagonist, lives with mother.- Conor is confused, angry and lost. He is looking for answers to the missing information surrounding his father after being lied to for such a long time. Conor idolises this image of his missing dad and clashes with Tyler when he challenges this ideal.
2nd character: Tyler, mid 20s, - Tyler has known his father since he was 7 years old after he came back into his life after leaving him for his second family. Due to his fathers alcoholism, Tyler has suffered years of emotional abuse that has slowly worn down his self-confidence and only fuelled his resentment towards his father. Tyler sees Conor’s meeting as his only chance to have a family and so he tries to do everything in his power to create the image of a dangerous monster, which isn’t wrong but he learns that he can’t make decisions for everyone and that their dad is just a man and he has no control over them now their adults.
3rd character: Jimmy mid/late 40s, A self-loathing narcissist who is abusive to anyone who makes him feel inadequate. - Jimmy is an alcoholic. In the past, he has never cared about anyone other than himself, often putting alcohol before any of his numerous families. Now, however, Conor may be his last chance for redemption.
