Details:

After The Fray focuses on a military veteran, recounting his personal experiences on the front lines of a war we've not yet experienced.

Revealing at the end, that the World War veteran is not speaking from an identifiable past, but a future war, that has yet to begin

After The Fray could be described as a historical Sci-Fi, inspired by films such as Chris Marker's 'La Jetee' and single character driven narratives like Locke starring Tom Hardy and Buried starring Ryan Reynolds.

After The Fray is a 5 minute short that will be shot in one single take to give the impression of found footage/raw footage for a documentary.

VETERAN Character -
Our protagonist is a military veteran who as an angry young man went to war. He witnessed and committed horrific acts. Now he's matured he's come to realise the error of his ways and finds it difficult to shake the haunting memories of the past.
Older white male, English accent, playing age anything from 50 to 70+
