November 2018 will be the 100th anniversary of the end of WWI. To commemorate, Bite My Thumb will be reviving our 2008 production of the moving The Accrington Pals. It's a powerful and important piece that looks at how the wide reaching effects of the war changed the lives of all it touched. It's a much-loved piece, very popular with audiences, with all performances selling out last time we produced it.
We’re looking for 2 males and 1 female (all between 17 - 25) and 1 female between 25 - 45 to take on the main roles of Tom, Ralph, Eva and Annie.
Auditions will be on Sunday 18th February in Lofthouse Wakefield. You do NOT need to pay any kind of a fee and auditions are open to ALL regardless of experience.
The Accrington Pals will have several performances over a handful of West Yorkshire venues in and around November 2018. This work is NOT paid.
