2nd year BA Film students from the Middlesex University in London look for 2 actresses and an actor to star in their Scene Adaptation Project based on Stephen King's "Rose Madder". We provide the catering and cover any travel expenses. The casting is going to take place at the Middlesex University on the 6th of December (Sunday) from 9 am until 12 pm. We are going to film the scene on the 15th of December (Tuesday) in Hendon, London. The link to the scene will be provided just after the upload.

Synopsis of the scene we are going to film:
After running away from her abusive husband, Rose Daniels, 32, finds a domestic violence recovery institution in the town she just moved to. When one of the recovery meetings ends, Rose and Mary (owner of the institution; named “Anna” in the book) are talking about Rose’s new life, and a painting that she is obsessed with. Mary asks Rose if she is still scared of Gordon (Rose’s husband, corrupt policeman named “Norman” in the book). Rose says no, but whilst they are talking, she is having flashbacks of domestic violence that she had experienced. The women are standing in front of the painting that was bought with the money Rose received for her wedding ring. In the painting, there is a blonde woman, a temple and a shadow of a creature with bull horns. After some time it becomes obvious that Rose’s husband is depicted there as the creature. At the end of the scene, Gordon is sitting in his car. We know that he is close to Mary’s institution.

Rose Daniels: Caucasian; female; English accent; 165cm-175cm tall; skinny; pale; brown hair; little, or no make-up at all; no glasses; 30-34 years old

Gordon Daniels: Caucasian; male; English accent; 165cm-175cm tall; large; no glasses; bald or with very little hair; 30-40 years old

Mary: Caucasian; female; English accent; 175cm-180cm tall; no glasses; not too slim; 38-42 years old
