I am a talented young female from Wrexham in North Wales and also have a base in Merseyside. I am a very able singer with emotion and understanding put into each song/performance. I have just made my debut on the West End as a Principle Soloist in the show 'Showstoppers' at Her Majesty's Theatre.
I am down to earth and easy to work with and take direction easily. I am hard working and driven by improvement and constant learning.

Annie Hughes is a female Principal Soloist from Wrexham in North Wales. Annie has been performing in amateur dramatics since the age of 4 and in 2008 graduated from Liverpool University with a BA (hons) Creative and Performing Arts degree. Between 1992 and 2004, Annie performed with the theatre company, TipTop productions in the North West. Credits included shows such as Honk (Mrs Turkey) Annie, Godspell, Chorus Line, Hello Dolly, Encore, West End to Broadway and numerous pantomimes including Mother Goose and her Golden Egg (Millennium Edition). Other major roles have recently included Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof, Nancy in Oliver, Katie Brown in Calamity Jane and Roberta in the musical version of The Railway Children.

Annie has just recently made her West End Debut in Showstoppers at Her Majesty's Theatre in Haymarket as a Principle vocalist. Annie has been a keen singer from an early age and throughout her time at school was a member of the St David’s Girls choir that achieved acclamation as British choir of the year four times in a row. In 2000, the choir also competed at the International Eisteddfod in Llangollen where they came third in the world. Further prestigious performances followed later that year, culminating at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the BBC Children’s Proms and a performance in the Millennium Dome. Annie recently directed and produced a musical compilation show for The Stroke Association called One Moment In Time in which she also starred.

TIE experience through University which included directing the whole schools christmas pantomime and educational performances which led special needs children through their Shakespeare play studied at school. Bringing the play to life which in turn made it more understandable for those children who do not learn solely from reading a book.
