About Me

Growing up an ambitious and driven young girl in Kent, I have always been a lover of the Entertainment industry. Whether it be; Film, Television or Theatre, the concept of story-telling has always fascinated me, and provided a stable consistency throughout my childhood, giving me ample opportunity to immerse myself in worlds much different to my own, if only for a couple of hours. It was this early introduction that ignited a life- long desire to be part of such a world, no matter how big or small my contribution may be. Eager to share my passion with anyone that would listen, Film viewings, visiting exhibitions, as well as starting an afterschool Film Club became regularity throughout my teenage years and when it was time to think about furthering my education with University, there was only one way I saw my path heading.

General Experience

As well as working in a variety of different roles on a selection of productions throughout my time at University, I wanted to develop my understanding on what it would be like to work within the industry. Eager to gain experience, I secured unpaid experience with Locations Company, Space-2 Ltd. Through this I gained invaluable ‘on set’ experience with two different productions.

Just Tattoo of Us, MTV, May 2019: Working as Locations Coordinator on the set of this MTV reality show, gave me an insight into the importance of timing and responsibility when working on a television production. Not only did I gain experience within the role of Locations Coordinator, I was working alongside several different industry job roles, such as site manager, production design and production assistants, ultimately ensuring each person was working on time to ensure there was no disruption to the running of the production.

Alex Rider, Sony Pictures Television, June 2019: In June, Space-2 Ltd invited me back to assist on another production, again in the role of Locations Coordinator. This experience allowed me to work more alongside the set design team, again giving me invaluable knowledge into the different job roles that work together to achieve a final cut.
