About Me
My name is Annabel Pidduck, I am 18 years old and I am an actress. I am a member of the National Youth Theatre and I completed the summer course in August 2008. I love acting of any kind, I particularly enjoy performing on stage and playing comic characters. I have achieved an A* in drama in my GCSEs. I have been in school productions such as 'Grease' where I played Frenchy, 'The Crucible' where I played Elizabeth and 'Life's A Lottery' where I played Edith (an old lady with alzheimer's disease.)
I have been involved in productions with the amateur dramatics group 'Young Inspirations' of Chesterfield including 'Sweeney Todd' and 'Back to the 80's' where I played a principle role 'Laura'.
I have just finished starring in the Billy Youth Theatre's production of 'Billy Elliot the musical' as Grandma at Mansfield's Palace Theatre and we have just done one night at The Nottingham Playhouse. I got lots of goodfeed back and excellent reviews. I have some experience of screen work and I had a small part in the upcoming film 'Vacation Hunter'.
I am currently training at 'AGF Performing Arts' drama academy in Nottingham, we develop our acting, singing and movement skills to a professional standard to prepare us for drama school and other performing opportunities. I have just completed my two year BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts (Level 2) at West Nottinghamshire College where I have achieved 3 distinctions (DDD) overall.
This summer I will be in London after successfully auditioning for a part of the core cast in The National Youth Theatre's 'S'WARM' which is part of the NYT's 'Five Elements' 2010 Season.
I'm very dedicated, friendly and always give 100% in whatever I do.

I love comedy, character acting and I have had excellent feedback in all of my productions, I have also done a lot of natural acting and I am able to portray many emotions in many different scenarios. I love the stage and most of my experience is in theatre. I love a challange and I'm up for anything so please don't hesitate to get in touch if you think I'm suitable for your project. (E-mail bel.pid@hotmail.com)
