About Me

I live in beautiful North Wales with my vet husband and lovely 7 month old son.

I have always enjoyed performance and still get the same buzz from it that I did when I was a little girl. The highlight of the school year was always taking part in various productions, in roles ranging from a main part, to chorus member and once I was even the prompt.

We currently need to supplement our income and what better way than by taking the chance to be involved with some acting/extra work.

General Experience

I am a children's speech and language therapist, currently on maternity leave.

Previous jobs include a cover supervisor at a secondary school (taking classes when staff members where off), a care assistant at a residential home, cleaning and serving at a chip shop.

Acting experience throughout childhood including dance shows, pantomimes and school productions. I have performed in a variety of styles of play including Shakespeare, Brecht and various musicals.

I once performed in the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield as part of a national youth theatre competition and was approached by a talent scout following the performance, who wanted me to audition for some television work.

More recently I have been a member of a local amateur dramatics society.

Relevant Skills

My job as a children's speech and language therapist requires patience, professionalism and of course well developed and effective communication skills.

As a mum of a young baby I am used to long hours and little thanks!

I believe in doing every job to the best of your ability, however big or small the job might seem - so would always want to give 100% whether in the background or centre stage.

I have a natural ability to perform and really enjoy any opportunities I get to use this.

Interests & Hobbies

I enjoy meeting friends for coffee, walking in the beautiful countryside, eating good food, doing crazy dancing in the kitchen and spending time with my family. I also attend my local church and help with organising/running the youth work.
