I am also an instore merchandiser, including FSDU placement, feeder stocking siting of POS material and working to planogram, online reporting etc and have completed many tactical assignments (see list of some recent jobs below ) My skills acquired in the retail sector over the years include visual product merchandising/stock ordering/stocktaking/ returns/ new product launches/stock promotion/instore offers. My professional retail career path started out in 1981 and from then up until 1994 I was working within large high street companies such the Burton group stores, Boots the Chemist, Top Shop, Etam , Carphone Warehouse,O2, Beaverbrooks the jewellers, Swarovski and large privately owned department stores. I also have extensive experience in concession sales /visual shop floor merchandising/layout plans/ promotional sales/ demonstration and cash administration/banking procedures.Infact all areas of retail and sales!! I furthered my retail career until 1999 with various retail/ promotional sales positions in jewellery and fashion accessories working in Selfridges upon the opening of the Trafford Centre in September 1998! I have also run my own franchise sales cosmetics/ fragrance business for many years but am now focussing more on the promotions/ field sales marketing industry and currently approaching promotional companies nationwide for work

Originally a self employed distributor, following a period at home after the birth of my second child ,I started working with Oriflame Sweden in 2010 to concentrate on cosmetic, skincare and fragrance direct sales, promotions and charity work events. I have always had a personal interest in the use of natural products for optimal health and nutrition and at this time also signed up as an ambassador for the Tropic Skincare range and also as a franchisee for Juice Plus so that I could take advantage of the customer database that I have built up in recent years.

To help build my Oriflame business I opened a stall franchise on Bury Market, trading three days a week as Pamperporium. Whilst I built a successful business I was not making sufficient return on my investment to warrant continuing with the overheads of the stall and staff.

Worked as a sales representative on a commission structure, based on the service areas of the M6 motorway. I worked selling and promoting MBNA credit cards to the travellers passing though the service area and quite enjoyed the role. Worked in a self-employed capacity with my ex partner in his business, Gelageo, selling astrology profiles and charts. This was during the time leading up to the birth of my second child who was born in October 2007 so I was able to spend more time with him rather than work on a permanent basis.
