About Me

I’m a musician - a harpist. I work as a supply teaching assistant within SEN schools so I have a flexible working hours. Working with children of all ages with very unique needs has opened up a new world for me. I am using music and art therapy as a language with the children and it has completely changed my confidence levels and I am finding my creativity is growing and growing. I also teach adults to children piano on a 1 2 1 basis. I am also an artist - a couple of drawings have become people’s tattoos.

Wide fit size 4 footwear fitting model at Sainsbury's when I worked for them as a product developer - HQ based in Coventry- I did this for around 6 months before leaving for a change of career and moving back to Southampton.
I am also a life model for artists around Hampshire - I have been doing this since June 2017.

I have been teaching piano and flute since I was 16 year old off and on. I now have 8 1 2 1 piano pupils a week which take place after my supply teaching assistant job during the daytimes.
I have grade 8 flute and cello and grade 7 piano. I have taken up the harp in which I have been learning since April 2017. I have several festivals lined up next year purely for acoustic improvised harp.

General Experience

I have been a musician since I was 6 years old. I have performed in large orchestras to solo improvised harp at festivals and open mic nights. I have spent time in the recording studio as well. I did drama GCSE and chose the costume route which followed into a degree in Lingerie design. I have performed and toured all over the UK, Europe and the USA with classical and pops orchestras. I am used to being on stage playing harp.

Interests & Hobbies

I love to draw - i have regular small exhibitions in collaboration with local charities around Southampton supporting mental health and animal re-homing. I love to travel around the country exploring and taking photographs. I very much enjoy make up and fancy dress.
