Employment History & Experience

As a TV presenter in Tanweer Channel in Egypt, I have been able to develop practical TV presenting & journalism knowledge. I had to write daily news stories (3+ minimum) to contribute to the daily news bulletin. Gather comment and voice cuts, and edit this for air play in news or the breakfast show. I was responsible also to develop educational community related programs. Identify program concepts based on the education theme. I have to write, research and record on-air ready programs of a high quality; minimum 5 programs per month. These must be in Arabic and English. I have found the deadlines and responsibilities associated with these positions challenging and rewarding. In addition, I acquired hands-on interviewing and writing skills.

Prior to this position I got an experience as an English teacher, which undoubtedly helped me to experience a side of presenting & journalism indirectly related to editing as I wrote different essays while studying for my TESOL Diploma.
