Amir Rashidi Che’ Malik (Jamell Patten) (born May 10th, 1991), is an English musician, writer, poet, political speaker, humanitarian and record producer, born in London, England.
Raised in Brixton, London to Conrad Wayne Patten and Alison Sophia Baptiste. Amir was exposed to all different varsities of music at an early age. "My mother and father exposed me to so many different genres and sound this lead to me catching the music buzz from an early age". Amir stated that his mother always made sure he utilise his gifts and talent by encouraging him to join the school choir and other local musical activates around him. Music has always been inside me, it’s a feeling that constantly takes over me and is a large part of my life. The name Amir Rashidi Che' Malik means an Arabic Prince who tells a story of life. Hip Hop is my sound and life. The hip hop culture I eat and breathe. The art of storytelling is my talent and my music captivates my audience and takes listeners on an amazing journey.
