I have been acting in high quality amateur musical theatre productions for the last 7 years. I have played lead roles in the majority of shows that I have participated in and have also played one of four characters in a straight play.

As the singer for a jazz big band, I compere at all of the gigs that we perform at which have included small charity gigs up to a concert in front of an audience of 1,000 at The Anvil, Basingstoke.

I have been singing classical music in choirs from a young age but my time, now, is taken up with musical theatre and as the front singer with an 18 piece big band. I have a large vocal range comfortably from a bottom E to a top G#/A but would describe myself as a baritone able to sing most tenor parts.

My classical voice is light (not operatic) and generally I would say I am suited to light operettas or the "typical musical theatre" style of vocals.

My dancing experience is limited to performing in amateur dramatics societies in musicals or "Cabernet" style shows and I would not claim it to be a strength.

I played the 'cello up to grade 8 (distinction) but this was 14 years ago! I do still have a cello, however, and could get back to a reasonable standard with practice if required.

As I am currently working as a police detective, I have extensive experience and knowledge in law enforcement and criminal law.
