I am a 20 year old British citizen who grew up in Detroit, Michigan. Dance has been in my life since the tender age of three and over the years how grown into a deep passion of mine. I am also in the works of obtaining a degree at Goldsmiths, University of London, where I study Sociology and Politics. Please look through my relevant details to see if i fit in to your criteria. General Experience

Dearborn Performing Arts (November 2006- August 2010)- I have instructed dance classes with a class size of twenty to thirty students ranging from the ages of 3-4 years all the way to adults. Choreographed dances in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop and contemporary routines for dance recitals and competitions, and winning many numerous gold medals. I teach private lessons and choreograph solo routines. I have also worked one on one with children whom have special needs (down syndrome, autism) and have instructed fitness classes for adults in the evening. Teaching dance has not only allowed me to express my creativity and help other people. I have also learned many valuable skills such as team building, scheduling curriculum bookkeeping and accounting. I have had to consult up to 150 families and order costumes for yearly dance recitals and competitions and have also had to organised the attendance of dance competition while chaperoning, managing and supervising all dance competitors..


Taylor Teen Summer Arts Prevention Program- (June 16- July 27th 2009 every summer to present) - A summer camp of dance and creative movement for underprivileged children from the age of nine to fifteen. I focused on assisting and rehabilitating young children while teaching them coordination, self confidence and the love for dance. The camp consists of 16 hours of dance tuition per week, consisting of creative movement, stretching, ballet and hip hop with two choreographed routines for each age group for the summer arts presentation at the end of the season. I worked on mentoring and building relationships with the children. It has/ is an honour to be part of this institution and have the ability to feel the worth of achievement every time.

Crystalletes Synchronized Skating (Septemer2009 – August 2010)- Under the the Royal Academy of Dance ballet syllabus. I train competitive synchronized skating teams consisting of a two hour long ballet and hip hop class off ice twice a week. The crystalletes synchronized skating team travel around the world to compete both nationally and internationally.

Southgate Skating- (June 2012- present)- Teaching ballet and hip hop to ice dancers, both pairs and individuals off ice three times a week in ballet, stretching and choreography. The Classes consist of an age range of 8-19. All classes are an hour long

Private Lessons- A private class setting to choreograph and teach competitively ranked dancer.s I Work on ballet technique, hip hop technique and stretching. The dancers I have trained have obtained numerous gold medals from competitions across the nation (USA)

Qualifications & Training

Dearborn Performing Arts School (September 1995- June 2010) (USA)- Have attended the school and danced since the age of 3. Trained under the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus R.A.D.A. for ballet since the age of three. I.S.T.D.A syllabus for tap and jazz since the age of three. Also fully trained in Hip Hop and creative movement. Stayed at the Performing Arts School until June 2010 (18 years old) when I moved back to London

Goldsmiths, University Of London (September 2010 - Present) - BA Sociology & Politics
Currently studying BA Sociology & Politics. This degree appeals to me as I enjoy thinking of rational solutions to theoretical person. I also enjoy discussion and working in an environment where people are sharing ideas and working together. This degree also involves a lot of teamwork, which I thrive, and can undertake either a leadership or worker role. I’m expected to retain a lot of knowledge for this degree so I can be tasked with remembering even the smallest detail. All the previous traits I mentioned I believe can be applied and can make a significant impact in the workplace.

ZUMBA CERTIFIED

Westminster Kingsway College (September 2010 - June 2011)
Achieved a B in History, B in Government and Politics, as well as a C in Sociology. I completed three A-levels in one year showing that I am very time efficient person and can get the job done very quickly. During my time at College I believe I gained many new skills that will aid me in the workplace. These include time management, working effectively in a team and producing coursework and completing exams to a high standard.



Dearborn High school (September 2005- June 2010) (USA)- Varsity Competitive Cheerleader for two years.
