About Me
I have recently moved to London to pursue a career in television presenting. I have been involved in a number of different projects working as a presenter beginning in 2006 when I was chosen to participate in Channel 4's coverage of 'Carling Live 24'. The show followed myself and three friends as we attended music gigs at locations all across London over a 24 hour period. The show was hosted by Steve Jones, Dave Berry and Alex Zane. Soon after this I was involved in a pilot working with Dave Berry for a music based chat show that served to further fire my enthusiasm for working in front of the camera. The following year I was asked to present 'Carling's Festival Postcards' a 10 show series produced by Done and Dusted for Channel 4. Consequently, I have gained valuable experience of presenting live links, conducting ad lib interviews with musicians and personalities including Mark Ronson and Juliette Lewis and learning scripts for pieces to camera. I would love to build on these experiences and believe firmly that I have much to offer.
I am currently working as a teacher in primary schools across London and, despite not wanting to continue this profession long-term, I believe teaching has further developed skills that transfer directly into television presenting. Communicating ideas in exciting and innovative ways is vital when trying to inspire children in the classroom. Similarly, when presenting in front of a camera, it is important that those who are watching are engaged with the content and feel they can relate to the person on screen. Teaching is often unpredictable and every day is different, therefore, I have learned very quickly the value of being able to improvise and think on your feet - skills that are fundamental for any television presenter. As you will see from my showreel I am an excellent communicator and can comfortably keep the conversation flowing avoiding any dead air. I am relaxed and confident on camera which I believe transmits to those watching.
I have previously worked as a youth worker, specifically planning and delivering programmes related to health, fitness, smoking, drugs, relationships and bullying. Before this I worked in a diverse range of part time jobs from sales assistant to football coach. I take pride in being able to do anything I put my mind to.

I love the challenge of presenting. I enjoy the vibrancy and excitement of the work.
