About Me

I am a very passionate person when it comes to acting. I always work at my maximum potential. I am currently in college and I would really like to gain the experience of acting on a wider scale. I am a very hard worker and well prepared. I want to gain a wider depth of understanding about acting and I can achieve this by going to auditions, etc. Acting is my passion, I have never stopped doing it ever since I was 6 years old and I want to carry this passion on and make it into a career.

I have had no past acting employment. I have taken part in many school productions as well as Acting productions for my lesson. Previously, I used to volunteer to help a children drama group in my local library. I have taken part in many different workshops, most recently I took part in the Monologue Slam Master Class in April 2016.

General Experience

I have had past enterprise experience (for my Business GCSE) and here I was the team leader of my group so I also gained experience on leading a group. I did my work experience at a Library where I helped organize many events (in the summer of 2014).

Relevant Skills

I have excellent communication skills through my writing and also verbally. I can communicate clearly. I am confident when I speak. I am also able to express my ideas when talking or in my writing.
I can work well as an individual and as part of a group. I have good teamwork skills and I feel that I can work confidently within a group of people that I don’t know.
I have good vocalization, I can add inflection, tone and pitch into my voice as well as being able to project my voice.
I also have a good understanding of Stanislavski's methods therefore I can act naturally with facial expressions, gestures, etc.
I am confident and I do not get nervous when delivering my lines.

Interests & Hobbies

I have a big passion for reading books. I particularly like reading horror books due to the build-up of suspense and the chilling effect they create. I also enjoy watching period dramas/fantasies due to how the time period is depicted. I also enjoy a healthy lifestyle and I therefore eat healthy foods. I like to also keep up with current affairs; therefore I read many news articles and watch the news every day. Furthermore, I love to go and watch plays and productions in theaters so that I can learn more about acting and I do everything I can to get myself involved with anything to do with acting and drama.
